When you have a facial, we first do a thorough skin analysis. This helps to determine which type of facial would be most beneficial and then we discuss the options with you. A specialized Woods Lamp, a long wave ultraviolet lamp, is used for skin analysis. Under this lamp different skin conditions that are hard to see under normal light show up very easily. Then we move forward with the professional treatment and counsel extensively on a home care regime.

ATTENTION: Ladies and Gents over 30!!!

We have a new resurfacing treatment that will make you skin look younger. It exfoliates dead cells and reproduces healthier cells, removes age spots and smooths out uneven pigmentation. It also minimizes large pores, wrinkles and scaring.

The process removes three to four layers of skin with each treatment. A series of six treatments are recommended. Complete five treatments and we'll give you the sixth one free.

Electrolysis:  Now, more than ever, people are seeking out electrolysis to permanently remove unwanted hair. A wire filament is inserted into the hair follicle responsible for hair growth and a low electric current is delivered. This permanently removes unwanted hair by destroying the follicle and papilla.

There is little or no pain associated with this procedure and the sensation is less than in tweezing. Most people are surprised as they expect to feel much more. Some people even relax enough to fall asleep.

The average treatment usually lasts 15 minutes to one hour. The amount of time for each treatment depends on the reaction of the skin to the treatment, the person's sensitivity and the part of the body being treated.

Discuss your needs and goals with the electrolysis to determine a plan of treatment that best suits you.

Waxing: Waxing is available to remove hair from your face, bikini line, underarms, legs, arms and the entire body. Organic waxing is totally derived from plant extracts. It is gentle, comfortable, prevents ingrown hair, minimizes redness and irritation of the skin. Pat Carlton - Pat is a registered electrologist and licensed esthetician who is qualified to remove hair from any part of the body. She received her training at Alexandria's Beauty College in Ann Arbor. She became interested in electrolysis in the late 70s when she needed the service herself.

She felt it was one of the best things she did for herself and wanted to help others overcome the same problem she faced. So for the past 30 years she has been a practicing electrologist helping people improve their lives.

It was a natural progression for Pat to add licensed Esthetician to her credentials. She is trained and certified with all Pevonia and Medicalia treatments and products. With her vast experience and knowledge, she has become a master at diagnosing skin conditions and disorders. Her perfectionism drives her to advanced classes, constant study and routinely keeping up with many monthly trade journals. This qualifies her to select the correct course of treatment for all clients.

Pat's caring, soothing manner and her dedication has afforded her much success in her professions. She feels that by providing this service, she can make a difference in a person's outlook. Improving the integrity of their skin CAN and WILL make them LOOK and FEEL BETTER!

Other services Pat offers are waxing treatments to temporarily remove unwanted hair as well as eyelash and brow tinting and make-up lessons and applications.
