Meet Margo - Margo Kramar has owned and operated the salon in Northville since 1986. Margo has been a community supporter and personally been involved in the following ways: Northville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors - Joining the chamber in 1986, Margo has been an active member and served on the board of directors since 1990. She has been an active member of the Jaycees, Professional Business Women and Early Bird Kiwanis. She's an participant and supporter in the Victorian Festival, Art in the Sun, Northville Business Expo, Northville Central Business District Association, Partnerships for Education (Partner with Cook Middle School and Old Village Middle School) and Civic Concern. She has been a member of the National Hairdressers and Cosmetologist Association since 1965.

Margo's dream comes true with a special trip to Atlanta to obtain advanced training in the French techniques of Balayage color and hair cutting with Jamison-Shaw.

Americoif of Detroit - Michigan's likeness to Intercoifure, Americoif is the only nonprofit hair organization of it's kind in this country. Margo is an active member of this prestigious organization. The membership is composed of many of the finest and talented professional hairdressers in Michigan. Members learn to maintain a higher standard of ethics in relation to each other as well as the public and to improve the professional standard of the hairdressing industry. National and international guest artists along with the membership share their expertise in designing, cutting, and coloring hair. Americoif members learn how to present their work on stage and to take higher positions in the organization that take part in producing the six shows that are put on each year which include guest artists from all over the world. Margo is a current member of Americoif and has held the position of Secretary on their Board.

International Hair Color Exchange - Margo is an active member of the International Hair Color Exchange.It is a nonprofit organization for the professional hair colorist to share and exchange information.

National Cosmetology Association - Margo is also a member of the National 'Cosmetology Association, the world's largest association of salon professionals.

American Cancer Society - Margo's of Northville is a participant The Look Good...Feel Better program is a community-based, free, national service that teaches female cancer patients beauty techniques to help restore their appearance and self-image during chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Margo also volunteers for the Relay for Life.

Locks of Love - Margo's of Northville also participates in Locks of Love - a nonprofit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children 18 years and younger suffering from long-term medical hair loss.. To learn more click on locks of love.
